Portishead-Portishead-EP

Portishead / Portishead / Go Beat/1997

with

Dummy If of 1995 surprised the audience was not used to the syncopated rhythms, unnerved and fever and all that broth called trip hop (although Geoff Barrow of this band that has never existed rate and only " is bullshit for not standing up about vivales when classifying music ) Portisheadiano the second work is a masterpiece total, from Bristol to the world this second opus is a very dark, dense work , full of haunting atmosphere and woven in a manner hitherto unheard of, I know there are bands like Hooverphonic , Laika, Morecheeba with that side until maybe more lively and cheerful but Portishead the dark, and the pesadumbrez anxiety are present in each of the tracks, from the impressive entrance to Cowboys know that this is a moonlighting in black, so the tracks happen one after another without respite to the listener, there is All Mine with an impressive wall of sound (metal Stax to setting the standard) there is Undenied with Rhodes piano to the fullest, there's that sore and prayer sick call Half day closing (final shocking) the heavy (guitar chords to Sergio Leone westerns) Over the friqueante (Theremin included) Humming , the disc is complemented by the mysterious beauty (obviously) Mysterons, Elysium and the beautiful and seductive Only You (with video art at the time directed by Jonathan Glazer and when I passed by MTV rock and roll music and art, not the mess that no longer makes music. All this comes collation review (and was more to do but stay as the text fits)

NOTE: Portishead in Mexico. Noise note Me
